Hey everybody! I hope everyone is enjoying the nice weather we’re having…I guess since I’m talking about weather I must have nothing to talk about right? Wrong! I’ve been at WPPI all this week having a great time with thousands of other photographers in seminars and trade shows. It’s over for me now but I had a lot of fun. I got to listen to one of my favorite portrait photographers speak this morning (William McIntosh from Virginia). I really enjoyed that.<\/p>\n
My absolute favorite WPPI moment this week was on Monday morning when I was in a seminar and they were showing a slideshow of wedding albums. The slide appeared on the screens and it was a nice portrait of a bride getting ready. It was beautiful, no doubt, but nothing out of the ordinary. In a crowd of 1200 people only ONE voice could be heard at that moment the slide came up and it was directly behind me.<\/p>\n
“WOW!” he boldly proclaimed while realizing he was the only person in the room of 1200 with the artistic vision to see it’s amazing, one of a kind qualities. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
I bet he felt like he wanted all of the MGM to come crashing down on him so he couldn’t be seen, kind of like how you did back in junior high school when it was 30 minutes into the class and the teacher said your name, “Nathan…”and you replied, “HERE!”<\/p>\n
