I have a confession. I love classical music. Have you ever met a 25 year old who likes opera? We’re few and far between but we exist…lurking in the shadows with our sweaters over our heads… hahah I kid. Anyway, I thought it’d be fun if once and a while I posted a song (no matter what the type) on here that I’m currently addicted to.<\/p>\n
People think it’s weird that I like opera. Shoot, I<\/strong><\/em> even think its weird. haha Most people have probably heard it, enjoyed it an didn’t realize that it was opera they were listening to. For anyone interested in listening to it, I suggest starting with light voices. I call it POPer (Sarah Brightman, Andrea Bocelli, Russell Watson, Il Divo, Amici Forever, etc. etc.). They have great voices but they are geared towards the every day public. Eventually you’ll like their music and get curious about the likes of Pavarotti, Bjorling, Domingo, Sherrill Milnes and all those other guys that most people have never heard of.<\/p>\n Ok, here’s my submission for the week!<\/p>\n
